Our Home and Neighborhood

Our home has three bedrooms and two bathrooms and is in an established suburban neighborhood. The mature trees and landscaping give us the feeling of living in a rural setting. Our home sits on a large lot, and there are no homes directly behind us. Half of our backyard is fenced, while the other half is open. This allows us enough room to have a vegetable garden and room to play all at the same time. We also recently added on a large deck and covered porch where we enjoy grilling out and hosting family and friends.

We bought our home as a bit of a fixer-upper, as we knew the open concept would be perfect for growing our family. Over the past few years, we have completely gutted and updated most of the house. We now have a comfortable and functional home that reflects our personalities.

We live in a beautifully diverse community. Our neighbors come from all walks of life and represent a variety of cultures. There are many children in our neighborhood riding bikes or scooters during the evenings after school. The large community park has hiking trails, a playground, and an archery range.

We are also blessed to live within a great school district that provides many learning opportunities and extracurricular activities. You can also find splash pads, waterparks, amusement parks, horse racing, and a zoo near our home. There are lots of things to do and get involved in around our area.
