Our lives together have offered many opportunities to try new things and experiences. Mix in my rural upbringing and Nick's youthful spirit and you get a lot of wonderful memories! Here we will share with you our top 3 favorite adventures!

#1 Ziplining

When Nick first suggested we go ziplining, during our honeymoon in 2016, my initial reaction was NOPE! I wouldn't say I'm afraid of heights, but the thought of strapping myself to a cable that high up in the air did not seem appealing. It must have been the high from just getting married, because somehow Nick convinced me to do it and later that afternoon we were standing amongst the treetops. We made it through the first zipline and I was hooked. It was not nearly as scary as I had thought and the views were amazing! Autumn always has been, and always will be, my favorite time of year, so this experience naturally falls to the top of our adventure list.

#2 Flipping our House (Twice!)

Nick and I love to jump in head first, so it was not a surprise that our first two home purchases have been fixer uppers. Our current home checked all the boxes when it came to location, large fenced in yard, open concept perfect for starting a family, and most importantly - room to put our own stamp on it. As you can see in the picture, we have stripped almost the entire house down to the studs and brought this 1980's home into the 21st century. Lots of hard work, and hours on YouTube, have made this a wonderful home we can't wait to welcome a child into!

#3 Annual Camping Trips

We love spending time with family and friends. One of our favorite ways to do so in the summertime, is on a good ole' camping trip! We have made many memories with both sides of our families, and with our friends, over the years by exploring northern Minnesota and western Wisconsin. While camping, you can usually find us hiking, kayaking and by the bonfire enjoying smores!

While all these adventures have created wonderful memories, we know nothing will top welcoming a child into our family! We can't wait to be chosen by a mother and start this next adventure!
